Another sketch from the hospital. Why the OTs wouldn't just let me draw inside of making omelettes in a plastic bag is beyond me. It wasn't until my last day that I demanded my sketch book. At that point I didn't care whether I made them mad. Sweet ladies but glued to their job descriptions. Sketching beats dominoes in my book any day in rehab. Posted by Picasa

Kay - though these are painful times and memories -- your sketches are as awesome and gorgeously rendered as ever! The lines, colors, perspective here are just wondrous!!!!! SO SO pleased you included these -- yes, a 'different' everyday for you -- but still an EVERYDAY! Thanks for the delightful view!

The sketches are great! Really glad to hear that the surgery went off well and that you're back home and healing ahead of the average. :D

To Kay.
I learnt your hospitalization.
To reconcile your injury early, I also pray for your recovery.
Thank you for the comment.

so glad you're home and feeling better -- even if it is only feeling better to be home! there is nothing more exhausting than spending time in the hospital or sitting up w/ someone spending time there. you must be MUCH nicer than me, b/c i would've demanded my sketchbook and colors much sooner than you did!

that is one great thing about having grandkids around -- a person always has the perfect excuse to have crayons/markers/colored pencils and to use them! now i can even color in church and it's ok!

take care and use up all this recuperating time to just draw and color and create.

Sounds like a rough trip into the world of medicine but it's great to hear you're home and doing better. I love the drawing and the sketchy lines combined with color. And you're right--sketching seems like much better OT, I agree.
